| What are the basic requirements for admission to the MDM program? |
| |
Applicants are required to submit the completed application form with essay; original or certified true copy of Transcript of Records; and a letter of recommendation from the current or former employer. He/she must pass the AIMAT conducted by AIM or present a copy of GMAT results.
How do I qualify for admission?
Applicants must have the following the basic qualifications: He/she must have a 4-year undergraduate degree or its equivalent, must have at least 6 years full time work experience with 3 years at supervisory or managerial level, and must be proficient in oral and written English |

| How do I apply? |
| |
You may take any of the following entry points: 1. Apply online by clicking on the Apply Online button on the right or at the following link: http://www.cdm.aim.edu/registration.asp?id=1&id2=48. You will be contacted by our admissions staff. 2. Download the application and recommendation forms found at the Admissions section of the website ( http://www.cdm.aim.edu/admissions.asp). 3. Get an application form from the Admissions Office at AIM 123 Paseo de Roxas, Makati City or from the Representative Office in your respective country. Overseas Representative Offices are located in Vietnam, Malaysia, India, and Indonesia; 4. Request an application form by email at cdm_admissions@aim.edu. | When and where do I get my AIMAT results? |
| |
Do you charge a fee for the application form? No, the application form is absolutely free of charge.
Is GMAT required?
No, GMAT is not a requirement since AIM conducts its own admission test. However, if you have taken and passed the GMAT within the last 2 years, it will also be considered in lieu of AIMAT. We require a minimum GMAT Score of 600.
Do you administer the GMAT?
No, AIM does not administer the GMAT but we conduct AIMAT. GMAT is administered by PROMETRIC. Should the applicant pass the exam, he/she will be called for an interview at once.
How much is the AIMAT fee?
The AIMAT fee is $50.00 or its equivalent in pesos.
What is the duration of your degree programs?
MDM is an 11-month degree program, which starts 1st Monday of September. |

| How much is the program fee? |

The program fee for the 11-month MDM Program amounts to US$ 11,000.00
Do we have to pay in dollars?
Payments can be in US dollars or Philippine peso based on the exchange rate at the time of payment.
Can I pay in installment?
Yes, AIM accepts payments in full or installment basis.
What does the program fee cover?
The program fee includes tuition and miscellaneous fees, which can be paid in full cash or by module or in 10 monthly installments. Fees may be paid in US dollars or in Peso based on the exchange rate at the time of the payment.
Does the program fee include the dormitory fee?
No. The dormitory fee depends on the terms of the contract. For contracts allowing a stay of 5 months and less, the fee is Php13,000 per month. For contract allowing a stay of more than 5 months but less than 10 months, Php11,000 per month. For contracts over 10 months, Php9,000 per month. |

| How much is program fee per unit? |
| |
Program fees are not computed per unit. The amount is based on the total program.
What is the passing score for the qualifying exam?
The desirable score for GMAT is at least 600. But remember that the score in the qualifying exams is considered along with other factors like work experience, transcript of records, and the interview. Generally, if you have 2 below-average scores, you will not be interviewed anymore.
Will an applicants be interviewed even if his/her exam scores is not high?
The AIM Admissions Committee conducts interviews with almost all applicants to help them assess the applicants' leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. Generally, if you have 2 below-average scores, you will not be interviewed anymore. However, the Qualifying Exam is not only the basis of acceptance. Applicants are evaluated also based of their overall qualifications, work experience, career plans, demonstrated managerial potential, maturity and motivation. |

| Does the program fee for the degree programs include board and lodging? |
| |
No, the program fee does not include board and lodging, only tuition and miscellaneous fees. Other possible expenses, which may vary for each program – but are not covered by the program fee -- are for food allowance, personal allowance, school supplies, MRR (Thesis) Expenses, and dormitory fee.
Do you accept credit transfer from previous schools?
AIM does not accept credit transfers from previous schools since the AIM program requires interactive learning wherein it’s ideal for all students to take the same lessons and advance through the course at the same pace.
Can my units from previous masters program be credited to AIM degree program?
No, units earned from previous masters will not be credited to any of the AIM programs. Students should take all the required subjects.
May I defer my admission?
Yes, AIM grants admission deferrals only up to three school years. In this case, applicants need to submit a Letter of Deferment addressed to the Admissions Director. If the applicant fails to enroll after 3 years, he/she needs to go through the entire admission process all over again.
Can we work or take a part-time job while studying at AIM?
Students are not allowed to work while enrolled at AIM. These degree courses demand full, undivided attention of students to reduce chances of failure or non-completion. With a very intensive 8-to-5 class schedule, students are expected to be committed full-time to the program. |

| Are there any scholarships available? How do we apply for them? |
| |
At the moment, the Asian Development Bank provides a limited number of scholarships to qualified applicants each year for the MDM program. ADB Scholarship application forms are available at the AIM Admissions office or can be downloaded from the ADB website, www.adb.org.
Of course, the evaluation of ADB scholarship applicants will start only after they’ve been accepted in their chosen program. The AIM scholarships committee prepares a shortlist of candidates, which is then forwarded to ADB for final screening and selection.
When do I know the status of my application?
Applicants will be notified by email, post, and/or fax regarding the status of their application three days after they have completed their requirements. Final application status will be sent out three days after the interview.
What's the visa requirement for an overseas student?
AIM requires 47(A)2 visa for overseas students. This special non-immigrant visa permits the student to bring his spouse and children to the country. The student, furthermore, enjoys the right to be exempted from the payment of visa fees. The visa is valid only as long as you are a student of AIM.
How do I register for the program?
For a new student who wishes to register for the program, he/she has to pay the $300 Program Reservation Fee and an additional $100 Dorm Reservation Fee
